This product is a turned metal barrel of the Soviet 100 mm D-10T tank gun, in the execution for the T-54B and T-55 tanks, in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle kit but a detail metal accessory. The turned metal captures the slim profile of the barrel and the shape of the muzzle exactly and does away with the seam line common on plastic barrels.
The 100 mm D-10T gun was the main armament of the Soviet postwar medium tanks T-54 and T-55, which were among the most widespread tanks of their time. The D-10T version for the T-54B and T-55 variants corresponds to the execution without a bore evacuator on this barrel.
The barrel is glued with cyanoacrylate. We recommend separating the original plastic barrel at the mantlet and setting the metal part in on the axis of the turret. Metal holds a straight axis and takes a base coat and the final spraying easily.
This is a metal detail accessory, not a standalone model. The basic tank kit is not included in the package.
