Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German five-ton Sd.Kfz. 6 half-track tractor in the /2 form with a 3.7 cm anti-aircraft gun, in 1:35 scale from Bronco. The box covers both early and late production, so decide at the start what you are building.
The Sd.Kfz. 6 was a German five-ton half-track tractor that appeared at the beginning of the war and towed artillery pieces and engineer equipment. The /2 form was the anti-aircraft one: in place of the cargo body it carried a 3.7 cm gun on an open platform that could fire in any direction. It was exactly this combination of a tractor with an anti-aircraft weapon that was the typical German answer — a unit then had air defense that moved with it and kept up with the pace of the advance. The vehicles served in Africa and on the Eastern Front.
The open platform with the gun means everything is visible, so finish and paint the platform and the weapon before you close the assembly up. Decide at the start whether you are building early or late production and sort the parts according to the instructions. The half-track run is visible along its whole length from the side, so give it time. Drill out the muzzle if it is not open. Spent cartridge cases and magazines on the platform give the scene some action; concentrate the dust on the lower part and on the track.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
