A precisely turned metal barrel from the manufacturer Aber in 1:35 scale. It replaces the plastic barrel on models of prewar Soviet vehicles armed with the anti-tank gun of 45 mm of the 20-K type. This is a supplementary part, not a model or a kit.
The 20-K gun of 45 mm was the standard armament of Soviet light tanks and armored cars of the 1930s, among which were the light tank T-26 and the armored cars of the BA-10 and BA-6 families. A thin, slender barrel is hard to mold perfectly straight in plastic, so a metal part markedly raises the realism.
Cut off the original plastic barrel and clean it up, then glue the metal part on with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a base coat for metal, so that the paint holds.
This is a metal accessory set, not the model itself. For the fitting the matching kit is needed, and it is not included in the package.
