A plastic kit of the Soviet three-axle GAZ-AAA cargo truck in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Hobby Boss. The model comes as an injection-molded plastic kit to be assembled and painted, with separate tires and wheels and a finely rendered frame.
The GAZ-AAA was the three-axle version of the well known GAZ-AA light truck (built under license from Ford). Adding a second driven rear axle raised both the payload and the ability to cross country, and the payload went up from roughly 1.5 to 2 tons. The GAZ-AAA chassis also served as the basis for the BA series of armored cars, and the truck was widely used during the Second World War.
Liquid cement for plastic, a primer base and an airbrush are all advisable. It is practical to paint the wheels and tires separately before final assembly. You will create mud and dust weathering with washes and pigments on the chassis, the fenders and the lower parts of the cargo bed.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
