This is a set of workable tracks in plastic in 1:35 scale from Rye Field Model. The set contains individual T-161 type track links that are assembled into a functional, sagging track. It is not a vehicle kit but replacement tracks for American tracked vehicles — the M109A7 self-propelled howitzer and the M2A3/M2A4/M7A3 series of combat vehicles. The workable links make it possible to reproduce the natural sag of the track over the road wheels faithfully.
Spray the tracks with a base metallic or dark color first, then add pigments and mud or dust effects for weathering. Once dry, the contact surfaces of the grousers can be polished with graphite or a metallic pigment for an impression of wear.
This is an accessory, replacement tracks, not a vehicle kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
