The real subject

The T-54, T-55 and T-62 tanks form a related line of Soviet postwar machines which spread all over the world and lasted long decades in a number of armies. The external fuel tanks carried on the fender belong to the build as well. They are clearly noticeable on the silhouette of a vehicle and on the real machines they tended to be scuffed, dented and worn differently from the rest of the hull, so on a model they easily give away whether the builder took trouble over them.

What the set contains

The package holds external fuel tanks in 1:35 scale for the line of tanks named. They take the place of the parts from a plastic kit and also suit anywhere you want to complete a vehicle with extra tanks or, on the contrary, to leave one out and expose the mounting on the fender.

Building and painting tips

Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry out perfectly. Try the placement on the fender dry, because every kit deals with the mountings a little differently. Paint the tanks separately while they can still be held comfortably. Suggest the scuffed places sparingly and only where the crew really did put their hands, that is at the caps and on the top edge.
