A plastic kit of the modern Russian T-90A main battle tank in 1:35 scale from Amusing Hobby. The model offers a richly detailed surface, a turret and hull with a great many details and, depending on the package, a well-worked interior of the fighting vehicle as well. It is a kit for more experienced modelers, who will appreciate the chance to reveal the inside of the vehicle.
The T-90A is an upgraded version of the Russian T-90 main battle tank, which follows the design line of the T-72. It is marked out by a welded turret, a 125 mm smoothbore gun with an autoloader, elements of reactive armor and a powerful diesel engine. The vehicle forms the backbone of the armored units and is laid out as an all-round battle tank for direct fire support and for fighting armor alike.
First assemble and paint the interior and the running gear, and only then close up the hull, because the details are hard to reach later. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, treat the surface with a primer and apply the paint with an airbrush. For weathering, dark washes in the recesses and pigments for dust and mud effects on the running gear work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
