A set of plastic figures in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM. The set presents American infantrymen of 1918, that is, of the period when United States units took an active part in the fighting on the Western Front of the First World War. The figures are meant to be glued and painted and go well with dioramas and vehicles of the end of the Great War.
The American Expeditionary Forces entered the European battlefields in 1918 and played a significant part in the final offensives of the war. The soldiers carried characteristic gear - helmets, field belts with ammunition pouches and period rifles. The set captures typical infantry stances in the field and faithfully conveys the look of the American doughboy.
Separate the parts from the sprues carefully and clean up the mold seam lines; glue the joints with thin cement for plastic. The uniforms show best after a base coat from an airbrush followed by emphasizing the folds with a darker wash. Drybrushing and fine glazes will bring the metal and leather parts of the gear to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
