Responsibility details are not available.
A premium plastic kit of the British guided missile destroyer HMS Sheffield of the Type 42 class (Batch I) in 1:350 scale from Fore Art, released from a new mold. The kit belongs among the richly equipped ship models - it contains photo-etched parts, turned metal gun barrels, a 3D-printed radar, clear parts for the bridge, decals with the markings of the ship and a stand for display.
HMS Sheffield was a British guided missile destroyer of the Type 42 class, brought into service during the Cold War. Ships of this class provided the air defense of a Royal Navy task group with a missile system. HMS Sheffield became historically known for its fate during the Falklands War in 1982. Type 42 destroyers were among the backbone of the Royal Navy of the late Cold War.
The hull can be built as a full hull or as a waterline. Glue the etched railings and the fine parts with super glue, and fit the turned metal barrels and the 3D radar carefully. Paint with an airbrush, pick the panel lines and the recesses out with a wash and set the finished model on the enclosed stand.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
