The ejection seat 1:48 F-86A Sabre Ejection seat early from Clear Prop Models will replace the cockpit equipment of the early version of the American jet fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
The goods refine the cockpit of a model of the North American-built fighter and correspond to the early version of the seat, as is given in the name. A sister item with the late version exists for the same real subject, so in choosing, which phase of service you want to capture is decisive. The base model of the aircraft is not included.
The F-86A version entered service in 1949 and was the first mass-produced form of the famous swept-wing fighter. It was powered by an engine of the J47 series, the armament consisted of six heavy machine guns in the forward part of the fuselage, and the swept wing came from research taken over after the Second World War. It was precisely these machines that from December 1950 fought over northwestern Korea with the MiG-15 opponent in the area nicknamed MiG Alley. The pilots flew there at the limit of their range, and the duels took place at great heights as well as speeds.
The cockpit of the first generation of jet aircraft was austere; the seat will therefore stand out when the base shade is broken up with fine dark emphasis and a few controls are completed with a contrasting color. The straps are best led slightly irregularly, so that they do not come across as a casting. It is good to finish the cockpit before the canopy is closed.
Sold without paints and without the kit of the aircraft.
