An injection-molded plastic kit ICM 1:48 Mitsubishi Ki-21-Ib Sally — the Japanese twin-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese twin-engine bomber Mitsubishi Ki-21-Ib, known to the Allies under the code name Sally, in 1:48 scale from the maker ICM. It is a recent tooling with rich glazing, decals for several markings and a fine engraved surface texture.
The Ki-21 was one of the main heavy bombers of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force. The Ki-21-Ib version built on the experience of the fighting over China and brought strengthened defensive armament. The machines were fielded over China and in the early stages of the war in the Pacific; their glazed nose and large fuselage are characteristic of the type.
Finish and paint the roomy interior with the cockpit area and the gunners' positions before the fuselage is closed. Mask the extensive glazing of the nose and the dorsal turret carefully. The large surfaces of the wings and the fuselage are best sprayed with an airbrush; apply a gloss clear under the decals. Fit the landing gear and any external stores at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
