The Aber 1:48 set of four turned barrels for the German MG 151/20 20 mm aircraft cannon is a metal detail accessory that replaces the plastic barrels with a fine brass part.
Responsibility details are not available.
A metal detail accessory from the Polish company Aber, not an airplane model. The package contains four turned metal barrels of the German MG 151/20 20 mm aircraft cannon in 1:48 scale. The metal barrel replaces the plastic one and gives the weapon a fine, symmetrical muzzle with no parting seams.
The MG 151/20 was the most widely used German 20 mm aircraft cannon of the Second World War. It was fitted to a whole range of fighters and bombers, for example the Bf 109, Fw 190 and Me 262. Four barrels cover aircraft carrying several of these cannons, or several models at once.
Cut off the plastic barrels, drill holes in the parts and glue the metal barrels in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with primer. The metal parts can also be soldered if you need to.
This is an add-on accessory for a plastic model. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
