A set of injection-molded plastic figures of American aircrew and ground personnel of 1944 to 1945 in 1:48 scale. The box contains both bomber pilots and members of the ground crew. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; plastic cement, paints and basic tools are needed to finish it.
The figures show members of the US Army Air Forces at the end of the Second World War: pilots in their gear with parachutes and bags, and the ground personnel who prepared the machines for combat missions. They are the ideal addition to models of American bombers in 1:48 scale and help to build a scene on a base.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and clean the mold parting lines up gently. Apply primer before painting. Paint the flying suits, leather jackets and work clothes with acrylics, and the faces with a layering and shading technique. The gear comes into its own with final highlighting and fine washes.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
