This set from Rattlesnake contains fifteen 3D-printed resin ammunition boxes for .50 caliber rounds in 1:72. It is not a kit of a vehicle but a detail accessory with which you can bring life to vehicle beds, cargo areas, firing positions and dioramas.
Metal ammunition boxes for .50 caliber rounds were part of the ordinary equipment of American and Allied vehicles. Scattered over a vehicle, on the fenders or stacked in a diorama, they give a scene life and look convincing as small pieces of cargo.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent and separate them from the print supports. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The boxes will benefit from a sprayed primer, an olive or khaki shade and then edges brought out, a fine wash and restrained rubs that suggest wear.
The set is an accessory, not a model. Supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the target kit are not included in the package.
