The injection-molded plastic kit of the Do 17Z-7 from ICM in 1:72 scale represents the German night fighter of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This kit from ICM brings the German twin-engine Dornier Do 17 in the Z-7 version, converted into a night fighter, in 1:72 scale. It is an injection-molded plastic model to be assembled and painted, with a well-detailed cockpit and engines.
The Do 17Z-7, nicknamed Kauz I, came about by converting the Do 17Z bomber version into a night fighter. It received heavy gun armament concentrated in the nose of the fuselage and served with a Luftwaffe night fighter unit at the beginning of the 1940s. The slim fuselage with its pair of engines also earned the aircraft the nickname the flying pencil.
The smaller scale puts the emphasis on clean joints, so use liquid cement in small amounts. Glue the glazing with an adhesive for clear parts so that it does not go dull. Apply primer before painting and lay the dark night scheme on with an airbrush in thin coats. Apply the decals over a gloss base and unify the surface with a matte coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
