Responsibility details are not available.
A set of figures of German paratroopers, the Fallschirmjäger, in tropical equipment in 1:72 scale from Italeri. The box contains unpainted figures in soft plastic in several poses, complemented by support weapons of the period. The set suits dioramas and wargaming of the fighting in the Mediterranean.
The figures capture German paratroopers deployed in the Mediterranean and North African theater during the Second World War. The Fallschirmjäger were the elite infantry of the Luftwaffe and they became known for demanding airborne operations. The figures are shown in tropical uniform and complemented with light support weapons, for example a recoilless gun and a mortar.
Glue the soft plastic with a glue for soft plastics or with super glue. Wash the figures and lay down primer before painting. The sand tones of the tropical uniform and the characteristic helmet come into their own once the folds are brought out with a wash and the equipment with a dry brush.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and bases are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
