LT-6G, 6147th Tactical Control Group, Korea 1953 (1:72, Easy Model) is a finished, assembled and painted model. It is supplied complete, with nothing to glue or paint.

A finished collector's model from a range that calls for no modeling work at all. The aircraft is assembled and painted at the factory including the markings, so it only has to be unpacked and set in a display case. It is not a kit and there is no glue, paint or decal to deal with in the package.
The LT-6G is the observation and control variant derived from the T-6 Texan trainer. Aircraft in this role served to direct attack aircraft onto targets: the crew worked at low altitude, kept in contact with forces on the ground and in the air, and marked the targets. Compared with the purely training version these aircraft differed in their equipment for communication and for marking targets. Structurally it is still a single-engined low-wing monoplane with a radial engine and a two-seat cockpit arranged in tandem.
The model is interesting in that it represents a less usual role of an otherwise well-known type. In a collection it works as a companion to the combat aircraft of the same period: next to fighters it looks small and shows the difference between a combat and an auxiliary machine well. It can be displayed on its own or in a group, and in 1:72 scale it takes up no more of a shelf than the palm of a hand.
Take hold of the model by the fuselage, never by the propeller, the landing gear or the antennas, which are the most delicate parts. Remove dust with a soft brush, dry. Keep the display case out of direct sunlight and away from radiators, so that the shade of the paint does not change.
