It is not a kit of the vehicle but a precise accessory that sharpens one. The machined barrel has a faithful profile, the correct fume extractor and muzzle and a perfectly round section.
The 100 mm D-10T gun was the main armament of the Soviet medium tank T-54 and of its development, the T-55. This pair is among the most widespread tanks in history, served for decades in armies all over the world and became an icon of postwar tracked vehicles. The long barrel with its fume extractor is its most obvious feature.
Cut off the plastic barrel and clean the area up, then glue the metal part in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The metal version guarantees a perfectly straight barrel and a precise shape of the muzzle. Degrease the brass before painting and cover it with a primer.
This is an accessory that sharpens a model, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
