Responsibility details are not available.
The set from the British brand PERRY Miniatures holds fourteen riders of hard plastic in 28 mm scale. Besides Prussian and Russian dragoons you can build Russian mounted Jaegers and units of Prussian volunteer mounted Jaegers from them. The Prussian regiments can be dressed in the short jacket known as the Kollet, or in the Litewka field coat. A detailed painting guide and bases are part of the box.
The years 1812 to 1815 are the end of the Napoleonic wars. After the retreat of 1812 the Russian army goes over to the counterattack, Prussia joins it and the allied cavalry marches across the German lands all the way into France. The dragoon at that time is the all-purpose rider: he fights in the saddle, but if need be he dismounts and shoots on foot. That is exactly why his equipment differs from that of the heavy cavalry and why, against a cuirassier, he is lighter and more mobile.
Leave the horses and the riders apart until they are painted, otherwise you will not get at the saddle and the harness with a brush. The parts are of hard plastic and glue with ordinary liquid cement. Prussian and Russian uniforms stand on dark blues and greens, which merge together easily on a figure, so lighten the edges and folds after the dark base. Unify the finished figures with a matte varnish.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
