A replacement needle chucking nut for the Gaahleri Aventus airbrush in the gold version, manufacturer's part number 47385. This is a small part from the rear of the tool, not an airbrush and not a needle and nozzle set.
The nut clamps the needle so that the travel of the main lever is carried to it; in doing so it engages with the needle chucking guide, which Gaahleri sells as a separate part. It is released at every deeper cleaning and at every swap of the needle for another diameter, so it belongs among the most handled parts of the whole airbrush. It is tightened with care and only to a firm grip: an overtightened nut bends the needle, and a bent needle no longer seals in the nozzle.
For owners of the Gaahleri Aventus airbrush who want a spare nut at hand before they need it, and for those tuning the look of the tool toward gold fittings. Without the needle chucking nut a stripped airbrush cannot be assembled.
