A replacement rear handle for the Gaahleri Aventus airbrush in the purple Twilight Purple version, manufacturer's part number 47453. This is a single part of the tool, not an airbrush.
The handle closes off the rear of the body above the end of the needle and above the spring assembly, and it is held during work. Because it is unscrewed every time the tool is cleaned, it tends to be the first part to take a drop onto the bench or a seized thread; and because it is at the same time a visible part, changing it is the easiest way to change the color of the tool. The Aventus body is machined from a single block of aluminum and anodized; the manufacturer designed it as a three-piece modular body whose individual module colors are combined.
For owners of the Gaahleri Aventus airbrush who put together a bold color combination, and for those whose handle has been damaged. The related variants of the same part are Lake Blue and Mars Red. Tighten the handle with your fingers only: a damaged thread in the body cannot be repaired and would cost far more than a spare part. And before you fit the handle back, make sure the rear assembly with the spring is sitting in its place.
This is a spare part, not an airbrush. The airbrush, the needle, the nozzle and other spare parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
