Tamiya TS-17 Gloss Aluminium, spray 100 ml

A gloss aluminum metallic from the Tamiya Color Spray (TS) range. It is a synthetic lacquer in a 100 ml spray can intended for plastic models. The paint gives a bright silvery metallic look, dries quickly and once dry it is not affected by acrylic or enamel paints applied later, so it serves well as a metallic base for further details and weathering. One can covers roughly the area of two to three car bodies in 1:24 scale.

Use

• a gloss aluminum look for the metal surfaces of models
• imitating polished metal on aircraft, car bodies and accessories
• a metallic base under washes and accenting effects
• before spraying it is advisable to degrease the surface and to apply thin coats from a distance over a smooth base

Who it is for

For modelers who want to create a gloss metallic surface quickly without airbrush equipment. It gives the best result over a smooth, well prepared base (for example over a gloss black base). The spray is ready for immediate use.

The spray contains a flammable substance under pressure. Use it in a well ventilated space away from sources of flame and sparks, do not expose the can to heat or direct sun and do not pierce it.
