An add-on set from the Big Ed range for a model of the A-20G in 1:32 scale. It serves to refine the detail of a finished kit; the exact make-up is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Douglas A-20G was an American twin-engine attack and light bomber aircraft of the Second World War. It differed from the earlier versions above all in the nose: instead of a glazed bombardier's station it was given a solid nose with gun armament, which made it a machine for attacks on ground targets from low altitude. Power came from a pair of radial engines in nacelles on the wing. Machines of this type flew on several fronts, in American as well as Allied service.
This is an add-on set from the Big Ed range intended for a kit of the A-20G in 1:32 scale. Add-on sets of this kind are bought where the builder wants to go beyond the level of detail that a kit offers on its own: finer fittings in the visible places, sharper edges and cleaner shapes on the small parts. What exactly the package holds, and how the individual parts are fitted, is given in the instructions enclosed by the manufacturer.
Before you start, go through the instructions in full and compare them with the kit's own instructions, because some of the parts are fitted at a moment when the model is still in pieces. Deal with the visible places, therefore, before you assemble the fuselage. Get dust and grease off the surfaces before gluing. In 1:32 scale the small things that would be lost on a smaller model come out, but for that reason work all the more carefully on the fit.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
