A water-based acrylic paint from the Spanish brand Green Stuff World, made for painting figures, gaming models and small scenery. It thins with water or with an acrylic thinner, and the brushes clean in water as long as the paint is wet. The name points at canary yellow, so this is a green shifted strongly toward yellow, the lightest position of the green range you usually have in a palette.
The most common mistake when highlighting green is to reach for white. White does raise the brightness, but at the same time it knocks the saturation down and the tone goes gray toward chalk. A yellow-green does the same thing without the loss of color: mixed into a medium or dark green it shifts the shade upward and warms it at the same time. It pays to build the range in ratios: the base, the base with a fifth of yellow-green, the base with a half, pure yellow-green on the edges. Four steps from one pair hold the tone together far better than five randomly mixed highlights from different bottles.
For players who paint figures into an army and need a shade readable on a gaming table even at a distance, and equally for anyone who mixes their own transitions. Shake the bottle well before use, because the pigment settles to the bottom.
