Acrylic Thinner 100 ml - thinner for acrylic paints

A thinner from the acrylic range by AK interactive. The volume is 100 ml. It is intended for acrylic, that is water-thinnable paints: unlike plain water, it does not merely reduce the viscosity but keeps the binder of the paint together, extends the working time and improves the flow of the coat. It is neither a paint nor a varnish, but an aid for painting.

Use

• thinning acrylic paints for the airbrush: add it drop by drop and stir until the paint has a consistency that matches your nozzle and pressure
• thinning paints for the brush when you need a thinner, smoother coat with no visible strokes
• building up thin translucent coats where you want to develop the shade gradually
• rinsing the airbrush and brushes as you work, before the paint dries
• do not mix it with enamel paints, lacquers or with acrylics that explicitly call for their own thinner

Who it is for

For everyone who sprays acrylic paints with an airbrush and wants the thinning under control. It behaves best with paints from the same acrylic range; with paints from other makers it is sensible to try the ratio first on an offcut of a sprue, because every acrylic range has a different binder. Keep the thinner within reach for ordinary brush painting too, since acrylics thicken quickly on the palette.
