Responsibility details are not available.
Air Defence Grey is a light gray from the Hataka Orange Line range, carried under the manufacturer's part number HTK-C045. It belongs among the shades that were laid over a whole airframe, that is over large continuous areas without camouflage patches. It is on an area like that that the quality of the surface preparation shows, because a light gray hides nothing.
The designation FS 16473 refers to the American Federal Standard color system, ANA 512 to the older American aviation system that preceded it. A pair of numbers for one shade is common: older sources and older instructions work with the ANA designation, newer ones with the Federal Standard number. Both come in useful when searching through kit instructions. The numbers describe the shade, not a particular aircraft, so always check your sources for whatever you have decided to build.
Stir the bottle thoroughly before use. The thinner intended for this range and the thinning ratio are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging; follow those instructions. Before spraying, sand the model and remove the dust, because a light gray brings out every scratch and every unfilled seam. Lay down several light coats instead of one heavy one and let the surface flash off in between. Let the finished coat cure fully before you put masking tape or decals on it.
The model, thinner, brushes and an airbrush are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
