Strainers for an airbrush cup, two pieces from Green Stuff World. They catch dried grains of paint before they block the nozzle.
Responsibility details are not available.
A pair of fine strainers that are dropped into the cup of an airbrush. Their job is simple and very useful: to catch grains of dried paint and dirt before they reach the nozzle. It is precisely a grain from the rim of a bottle that is the commonest reason why an airbrush starts to spit in the middle of the work or stops spraying altogether.
The strainer is dropped into the cup and the paint is poured through it. It comes into its own above all with older bottles, with paints mixed on a palette, with pigment and metallic paints and with products in which the solid component settles. When working with a fine nozzle, filtering is practically a necessity.
Rinse the strainer with cleaner after every session, otherwise it will clog and paint will stop passing through it. Do not clean it with a metal point, because damaged mesh stops serving its purpose. Filtering is no substitute for thorough mixing of the paint; on the contrary, well-mixed paint passes through a strainer far better. Let dried residue soak off, do not force it out.
Rinse the strainers with cleaner after use. Cleaning fluid is not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
