The AK interactive synthetic brush with an angled edge is a tool for precise work on edges, corners and narrow transitions. The angled cut holds a sharp line where a round brush wanders.
Responsibility details are not available.
A modeling brush of synthetic hair, cut to an angled edge. Among brushes this shape is the specialist: the long side leads a straight line, while the point at the shorter end reaches into a corner and into engraved detail. Angled brushes are therefore used where the transition of color should be sharp and controlled — on the edges of blocks, on frames, on trim and when bringing covering strokes right up to the edge of an area.
Synthetic hair gets along best with water-thinnable acrylics. It does not soak up as much paint as natural hair, but it washes out faster and holds its shape better, so it works well with thin, well thinned paints. Rinse the brush as you go and never leave it standing bristles down in a jar — an angled edge once bent can no longer be straightened. After work wash the hair gently, shape it with your fingers and let it dry lying flat. After solvent-based paints clean it at once, while the paint is still wet.
For figure painters and vehicle modelers who do transitions and edges by hand, and for anyone who builds a set of brushes by shape rather than by size. The sensible thing is to have it alongside a round brush, not instead of one.
The brush is a tool, paints are not included in the package.
