APC Interior Light Green is an AK interactive acrylic modeling paint from the 3rd Generation line, a light green shade for the interiors of armored personnel carriers.
Responsibility details are not available.
A light green shade from the 3rd Generation acrylic line, according to the name meant for the inner spaces of armored personnel carriers. The binder is water-thinnable, so this is not an enamel or a lacquer. Part of the name is a Federal Standard code, which places the shade in a standardized palette. Check the volume of the bottle on the label of the package.
An interior has one pitfall: once the hull is closed, only a small opening looks into it and everything in it falls into shadow. That is why the inside is painted before the shell is glued together and the finished surface is deliberately lightened more than reality would correspond to. The light green base is left to dry, the rivets, welds and edges are brought out with a dark wash, and the raised details are then pulled out with a dry brush in a tone a shade lighter. Work by sections and glue the walls only after the painting is finished, otherwise you will no longer get at some of the parts. Apply the paint in thin coats, so that it does not flood the fine engraved details.
For modelers who build equipment with open hatches or with an exposed interior and need a light base on which shading will come out. It will also find a use as a component for mixing lighter green tones.
An acrylic paint. When spraying, ventilate and protect your airways; keep it out of the reach of children and do not expose it to frost.
