A modeling paint from the ATOM range by AMMO. It is a water-thinnable acrylic, not an enamel or a lacquer: it is thinned with water or with the thinner from the ATOM range. The formula is self-leveling, dries quickly and dries to a matte finish with good covering power, without flooding engraved lines and fine detail. It comes in a clear 20 ml bottle and is odorless and non-toxic. Note: this is a modeling paint, it is not a kit.
Light Blue is a light, lightened blue. The manufacturer lists it with the equivalent FS 35550, a shade from the American federal standard for colors. Within the ATOM range it forms a pair with the deeper shade Blue: Light Blue is the light one of the two and you use it where a surface should look airy, while Blue is for where you need the full strength of the color. The two shades can be mixed together to make any intermediate step or a soft transition.
For aircraft modelers and for anyone who needs a light blue for modulation and for mixing their own shades. A water-thinnable, odorless acrylic is within reach of a beginner and can be worked with indoors.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. Work in a ventilated area, use a respirator when spraying with an airbrush and protect your eyes. Keep out of the reach of children. The paint is supplied on its own: brushes, thinner and the model are not included in the package.
