This is a modeling paint in a yellow shade from the ATOM COLOR line. Yellow is among the most demanding colors on a model: it has weak covering power and over a dark base it breaks toward green or ocher. It therefore pays to count on a base coat and on several thin coats instead of one heavy one. The shade does not depend on scale, so one container serves a small model as well as a large figure or accessories for a diorama.
Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging and use the thinner intended for this line. Stir the contents of the container thoroughly before work so that the pigment settled at the bottom is distributed through the whole volume. Apply it in thin coats and let each one dry properly; yellow dries more slowly than it seems and an undercured coat is easily torn off under a mask.
Wash and degrease the model before painting, otherwise the paint will form patches on greasy spots. Lay a light base under the yellow, ideally white or light gray; it will save you at least one coat. Prepare sharp transitions to another color with masks applied before spraying and peel them off slowly at a sharp angle. After work wipe the rim of the container and close it carefully, otherwise the cap will dry shut in time.
Thinner, brushes, an airbrush and the model are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
