The set brings together the shades that belong to German vehicles and equipment of the early and middle wartime period. Instead of putting individual bottles together you get a group of paints that go with one another and that cover the base finish as well as the final adjustment of the look in a single purchase.
Paints from one line have comparable covering power and drying, so they mix well with each other and the transitions between shades hold together. The set suits as a base for building a vehicle or a figure from the given period, on which shading, lightening and further surface treatment then follow. When you come back to a model after some time for a repair, you reach for the same group of shades and do not have to look for them again.
Stir the paint thoroughly before use, so that the pigment is spread through the whole content. On a model several thin coats work better than one thick one: it covers better and does not clog fine surface detail. Wash and degrease the surface of the model beforehand. The manufacturer gives the suitable thinner, the thinning ratio and the method of application on the packaging; follow them.
For modelers who build German vehicles and do not want to look for the shades one at a time. A thinner, brushes and an airbrush are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
