AUTUMN BROWN SHRUBBERIES 1:35 / 75MM / 90MM

Autumn brown shrubberies from AK interactive 1:35, 75 mm and 90 mm

Ready-made vegetation for dioramas and display bases. It is neither a kit nor a paint, but the material from which bushes and low growth are made. The shade is autumn brown, that is vegetation at the close of the season, dried out and drained of color. In a scene it works well with muddy ground, with churned-up tracks and with winter transition subjects, where nothing green is left. The manufacturer states the set is for 1:35 scale and for figures of 75 mm and 90 mm.

Use

• Divide the material into smaller tufts and adjust the shape with sharp scissors.
• Plant the brown growth at the edges of tracks, by fences and in churned-up spots where the growth died off first.
• Set the bush into a pre-drilled hole with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue.
• Add dry grass and leaf litter; a brown bush on its own looks like a mistake, while in a continuous dry scene it looks deliberate.
• Dust the bottom of the growth with a pigment in the color of the soil so that the vegetation blends into the ground.
• Do not overdo the density; late autumn growth is thinner and more see-through than summer growth.

Who the set is for

For builders of autumn and winter dioramas in 1:35, for figure painters working in 75 mm and 90 mm, and for modelers who want dried-out vegetation without the labor of making it from wire and foliage. Brown growth is also a rewarding companion to a vehicle with heavy mud weathering, because the two things speak of the same weather and the scene then holds together. The work calls for no special tools; sharp scissors, tweezers and cyanoacrylate glue are enough.

This is not a toy, keep it out of the reach of small children. When gluing with cyanoacrylate, ventilate the room and protect your eyes.
