Barrel Cactus Large (15 pcs)

Barrel Cactus Large, resin cacti (Paint Forge)

This set contains fifteen resin cacti of the barrel type, that is, barrel-shaped cacti, in the Large size from Paint Forge. It is not a kit or a model of a vehicle but a scenic accessory for building dioramas, vignettes and gaming bases. The cacti bring desert and semi-desert scenes to life and suit figures as well as vehicles set in dry regions.

Use

• An accessory for dioramas, vignettes and miniature bases in a desert or rocky setting.
• Seat the cacti into prepared terrain and reinforce the joint with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue.
• Combine them with sand, gravel, rocks and static grass for a convincing desert scene.
• The Large size suits figure scales as well as the smaller modeling scales.

Painting tips

First wash the parts free of mold release agent residue. Lay a primer on the resin, then a base green to gray-green shade; pick out the edges and spines with a lighter drybrush and dust the lower part with fine pigments for an impression of dust and dry soil.

Who the accessory is for

For diorama builders, wargamers and modelers who want to add convincing vegetation to a desert scene. Working with small resin elements is easy and even a less experienced modeler will manage it.

This is a scenic resin accessory, not a model. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package.
