A set of containers for mixing and thinning modeling paints. An aid for working with an airbrush and with a brush alike.
Responsibility details are not available.
Mixing paint directly in the original bottle backfires twice over: the shade can no longer be brought back and the rest of the thinner affects the properties of the whole package. A separate container solves this problem. In it you mix only as much paint as you need for the step at hand, and the bottle stays intact for next time.
The package is made up of a set of containers for mixing paints. They suit preparing a shade before spraying, thinning it to the right consistency and setting part-used paint aside during work.
Measure out the paint and the thinner in parts, best of all with a pipette, so that you are able to repeat the mixed shade. Note the ratio down, otherwise you will never get back to it when touching up. Stir slowly and near the bottom, because fast stirring brings air bubbles into the paint that then show up in the spray. When tuning the shade, add the dark paint to the light one drop by drop, as the opposite way round consumes many times more paint than is needed. Label the container with the mixed shade, because once you have more than two on the bench they stop being distinguishable. Wash the containers out immediately after finishing, because dried paint comes out far less easily, and do not leave thinner standing in them longer than necessary.
The set is for anyone who mixes shades themselves or sprays with an airbrush regularly and needs to thin paint outside the bottle. Paints, thinner and a pipette are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
