A black from the Real Colors range by AK Interactive in a 17 ml container. It carries the designation British F1 Black with the period 1972 to 1986 added, which says which era of formula cars the shade belongs to. It is therefore not a universal black from an ordinary palette, but a tone tuned for models of racing machines of those years.
Above all on the bodies of models of formula cars of that era and on the parts painted in the same tone with them. It will serve outside racing subjects too, wherever you need a black body surface, that is on models of passenger cars, on accessories for a display case or on bases.
Stir the paint properly before use, as settled pigment will otherwise show up as uneven coverage. A car body needs a smooth base: sand the part, wash it and degrease it, and only then spray. Apply it in thin coats and let each one flash off, because dark shades show up every irregularity and every overspray. Stick masking tape and masks on before spraying, remove them once dry and pull the edge away slowly. The recommended thinner, the thinning ratio and cleaning the tools are stated by the manufacturer.
For a modeler who builds racing cars and wants shades from one range, and for anyone who needs a black for a body surface. The package holds only the paint of 17 ml; a thinner, a primer, varnish and tools are not included, unless stated otherwise.
