A themed set of paints from AMMO of Mig Jimenez intended for painting figures of British airborne units of the Second World War; the nickname Red Devils is tied to the British paratroopers from the fighting in North Africa. It is not a kit nor an accessory for a model - you are buying paints in bottles.

The type of paint and thinning - read before buying

The set is acrylic and water-based. It is thinned with the acrylic thinner of the same maker or with distilled water. Lacquer (cellulose) and synthetic thinners do not belong in it; they would curdle the paint. It is not a lacquer, so it can also be applied over an acrylic base without any risk of attacking it.

Use

• Uniforms, camouflage smocks, helmets and the equipment of paratroopers in the larger figure scales
• Brush and airbrush alike; always thin the paint for an airbrush
• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles to the bottom
• Thin coats are better than one heavy one - a heavy coat floods the engraving and the detail of the casting
• A primer and a final matte varnish unify both the shade and the gloss
