An armored bolt with flats for a wrench, 0.8 mm is a 3D printed detail from the Czech brand GAS HANS. The box holds 162 heads 0.8 mm across, which are seated in a hole drilled at 0.5 mm.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings 162 separately printed heads. The figure in the designation belongs to the diameter of the head rather than to the length of the shank under it, which is matched to a hole drilled with a 0.5 mm drill. The side flats for a wrench will stay legible even once the primer is sprayed on, so the element is distinguished from a plain rivet at a glance.
The conversion is easy: in 1:35 scale the head comes out at 2.8 cm of real diameter, in 1:48 at 3.8 cm. Joints that heavy held together the armor plate of armored vehicles of the 1930s and 1940s, the flanges of final drives and the frames of hatches. For classic 1:35 it is the most universal choice of the whole range.
It will be appreciated by builders of military hardware in 1:35 who want to replace molded imitations of joints with parts in relief. It will serve as well where sanding a seam has removed part of the original surface and it has to be restored, or in conversions of your own, where a newly made plate has no joints molded on it at all. The higher number of pieces also allows the seating to be tried out on a cutoff before you start on the model itself.
A drill, tweezers and glue are not included in the package.
