A bolt with flats for a wrench, 1.2 mm aims at the larger scales. The brand GAS HANS supplies 144 printed heads; for this size the mounting hole is drilled at seven tenths of a millimeter.
Responsibility details are not available.
Twelve tenths of a millimeter is the diameter at which a tiny accessory becomes a building element in its own right. The head already carries an edge of its own that can be underlined with a dark wash, and the flats for a wrench are perceptible to the naked eye. The box holds 144 pieces, that is enough for a complete edging of a hull with a reserve.
In 1:24 a bolt like this corresponds to a head not quite three centimeters wide, in 1:16 to roughly two. That is the typical size of fastening hardware on the frames of trucks, on the feet of cranes, on the clamps of storage tanks or on the gearbox casings of heavy machinery. In 1:35 scale it is already a markedly oversize element, which suits construction machinery rather than a tank.
Builders of trucks and tractor units, modelers of heavy construction machinery and everyone working in 1:16 or in 1:24. It also serves well when building your own trailers, beds and bodies from styrene profiles, where fastening hardware is not molded anywhere and has to be added afterward. The box consists exclusively of printed heads.
