A one-millimeter cone in 196 pieces

The quantity at this size is exceptional: no larger size of the cone variant comes close to it. If you are planning to cover a continuous area, say a whole side panel or a deck, this is the item to reach for. Across the whole upper half of the range no single box covers as many fitted points. The practical effect is simple: you do not have to economize during the work and put off deciding where to put another rivet and where not.

Where a large quantity comes in

The riveted shells of tanks and silos, the deck plating of river boats, the side panels of railroad cars, armored facings in 1:16, where a millimeter corresponds to sixteen millimeters in reality. Everywhere there hundreds of joints are to be expected and a smaller box would not be enough even for one side of the build.

Drilling the same as for the 0.9 mm

• The hole is the same as with the smaller cone, so the tool stays.
• With large numbers keep a spare drill ready, because thin ones break.
• Work in sections and keep checking that the row runs straight.
• Apply the glue into the hole rather than onto the head, otherwise it will flood the cone.

Intended use

The set aims at riveting large areas in the larger scales and at models where a rivet is a visible element of the whole silhouette. It also pays as a stock for the workshop: the size is so universal that it suits many different builds, so the rest of the box will not lie idle. Drilling tools are not supplied with this item.
