Chain: Coarse - 50 cm long (brass)

Brass chain, coarse, 50 cm long, Art Scale

This is a half-meter brass chain with a coarser link for modeling detail work. It is not a kit or a model but material. Metal links look more faithful than plastic castings and take paint and weathering well, so they suit chains that are meant to be seen close up.

Use

• Imitating tow, anchor and lashing chains on vehicles, ships and dioramas.
• Securing cargo, hatches and tools on vehicles.
• Shortened with nippers to the length needed; the ends can be secured with a drop of super glue.
• Degrease before painting; brass holds a primer and the following washes and pigments well.

Who it is for

For modelers of military vehicles and ships and for diorama builders who want to replace coarse plastic chains with faithful metal material.

The chain is of metal and the ends may be sharp. Keep out of the reach of children.
