VMS Chipping Medium 3K Worn FX is a chipping interlayer from the premium modeling range of the manufacturer VMS, for creating the effect of flaking and chipped paint. It is applied between two coats of paint; once the top coat has dried, you simply moisten the surface with water and lift part of the paint away – realistic scuffs and chips are created. It is used with acrylic (water-thinnable) paints. The package holds 30 ml.

Use

• Apply a thin coat of the medium onto the dried base color and let it dry
• Apply the top coat of paint over the medium and let it dry
• Moisten the surface with water and lift parts of the top coat away with a brush
• A stiff brush gives a quicker and more pronounced chipping effect
• Use it only with acrylic (water-thinnable) paints
