A Mr.Paint modeling paint in a dark brown chocolate shade listed under the number 2430 of the Czechoslovak CSN standard.
Responsibility details are not available.
The dark brown chocolate tone is completed in its designation by the number 2430 of the Czechoslovak CSN standard. The numerical code means that this is not a freely mixed shade but a color described by a standard. Shades listed under CSN numbers can therefore be combined and complemented with one another without your having to guess how the individual tones will sit together, and the same shade can be looked up and repeated at any time, even years later.
CSN numbers are at home on vehicles of Czechoslovak manufacture and on machines that were used in Czechoslovakia. In such finishes a dark brown tends to be one of the components of a multi-color camouflage, where it meets green and lighter brown tones. Beyond camouflage the shade comes into its own anywhere a rich dark brown is needed: on wooden parts, leather and straps, crates, barrels and other equipment in a scene.
Stir the bottle thoroughly before use, because the pigment settles at the bottom. Apply it in several thin coats instead of one heavy one, otherwise the fine surface detail will be lost in the paint. The base should be clean, degreased and free of dust; a primer will also even out how absorbent the plastic, the filler and the accessories are, so that the shade comes out the same over the whole model. Thinning, cleaning the tools and the recommended spraying pressure follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging. Give the area under the decals a gloss clear coat, and the final varnish will then even out the look.
The paint is supplied on its own. Thinner, primer, final varnish and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
