A transparent blue from the Real Colors line in a bottle of 17 ml. It tints the base instead of covering it, so it suits light covers, glazing and a glaze over a metal base.

A transparent blue from the Real Colors line of the AK Interactive brand in a bottle of 17 ml. It does not cover like an ordinary paint but tints the base: whatever lies under the coat stays visible and only its tone changes. You control the final saturation by the number of coats, so one bottle gives you both a gentle cast and a deep blue.
Most often on clear parts, that is on light covers, on glazing and on small translucent elements where you need a blue tone and transparency at the same time. It also serves well over a metal base, where it creates a colored metal look, and as a final glaze with which you unify an area made up of several shades.
Stir the bottle properly before use, as the pigment settles when it stands. Apply it in thin coats and let each one become tacky before you add the next; only then does the coat stay clear and even, whereas a single heavy coat leaves streaks and unevenness. Wash and degrease clear parts beforehand, because fingerprints and dust stand out under a transparent paint. Apply masks and masking tape before spraying and take them off only once the paint has dried. The recommended thinner, the thinning ratio and the cleaning of the tools are given by the manufacturer; follow that information.
For the modeler who is finishing lights, glazing or colored metal surfaces and wants shades from a single line. The package contains only the paint, 17 ml of it; the thinner, the primer and the tools are not included, unless stated otherwise.
