AK Interactive - Construction Foam 10 mm (blue construction foam)

A blue extruded polystyrene foam of high density for making terrain and structures on dioramas. The package contains two sheets measuring 195 x 295 mm and 10 mm thick. The material is easily cut, shaped, sanded and layered, so you can make hills, the foundations of buildings, walls, paving and ruins out of it. The foam is light and at the same time firm, holds its shape well and does not crumble like ordinary white polystyrene, which makes carving detail easier. Cut edges can be sanded smooth.

Use

• Cut it with a knife or a hot wire into the shape required.
• Glue it with dispersion (white) glue; the sheets can be layered on each other.
• Bricks, stone or wood can be carved into the surface.
• Before painting, go over the surface with an acrylic primer.
