About product

Tamiya Craft Tools hard-coated File Pro (half-round, 7.5 mm)

A quality modeling file from Tamiya out of the Craft Tools line. The half-round profile 7.5 mm wide combines a flat and a rounded side, so it works flat surfaces as well as concave spots. The blade carries a hard chrome coating which, according to the manufacturer, lasts several times longer than ordinary steel files, and it suits soft model plastic as well as harder stainless parts.

Use

  • Sanding and shaping plastic parts and mold parting lines.
  • Working rounded surfaces thanks to the half-round profile.
  • Finishing harder metal and photo-etched parts.
  • A non-slip handle for comfortable and accurate work.

Who the file is for

Suitable for modelers of all levels who want a durable, versatile file for frequent use. The half-round shape makes it a practical answer where a flat tool would not be enough.

This is a modeling tool, not a kit and not a consumable.
