Dry White Lube is a modeling maintenance product from Woodland. The name says the essentials: it is a dry lubricant, white in color. Dry lubricants are used where an oil film would be a nuisance: grease holds dust, and on small mechanisms such a mixture turns over time into an abrasive that does a part more harm than good. Against the graphite one, the white version has the advantage of leaving no dark trace behind, which helps on light parts and anywhere the lubricant is directly in view.

Where it is useful

• On the moving parts of models, mechanisms and layouts, where grease is unwanted.
• On light parts and in places where a dark trace of lubricant would be conspicuous.
• Apply it sparingly; with lubricants a surplus is worse than a shortage.
• Clean the surface of old lubricant and dirt before applying.
• Try the effect on a hidden part first, above all on painted surfaces.
• Store it as instructed on the packaging and out of reach of children.
