DS3-S01 Reusable Abrasive Sponge Set (DSPIAE)

DS3-S01 from DSPIAE is a set of washable, reusable abrasive sponges in several grades. The flexible sponges adapt to the shape of the part, so they sand rounded and complex surfaces well too. Sanding can be done dry or wet and after rinsing in water the sponges are ready to be used again, which extends their life compared with ordinary abrasive paper.

Use

• Sanding and cleaning up plastic models – removing mold seams, flash and the marks left by ejector pins.
• Work from a coarser grade to a finer one for a smooth, even surface.
• The flexible backing follows rounded and irregular shapes better than stiff abrasive paper.
• Sanding can be done dry or wet – wet sanding reduces dust and clogging.
• Rinse the sponges in water after use and let them dry; they are reusable.
