The manufacturer named this reddish flesh tone after the stocky mountain dwellers of fantasy worlds, who suit a face beaten by wind and by work at the forge. The shade from the QUICK GEN COLOR range is laid on in a single coat: it runs into the wrinkles, the eyebrows and the folds around the mouth and stays lighter on the cheeks, which gives a face expression at once. The bottle holds eighteen milliliters.
When painting a larger number of figures it pays to lay a white base on all of them and to go over the flesh areas in one go, one figure after another. The shade then falls the same way on all of them and the unit will look of one piece. Beards, helmets and tools come in turn only afterward; beards themselves stand out when you underlay them with a darker brown and suggest light only at their ends. If you want to bring the faces out more strongly, add small light points on the nose and above the eyebrows once it is dry.
