A bobbin of elastic rigging thread from AK interactive in the Hyper-Thin version. In gauge it sits in the middle of the range: it is medium-thin, a little thicker than the finest Mega-Thin and thinner than Super-Thin. The thread is elastic, so it can be stretched and stays straight after gluing without sagging. That makes it a universal choice for smaller scales: it suits bracing wires in 1:72 as well as ship antennas in 1:350 and 1:700. The bobbin holds about 20 m of thread.
For modelers looking for one universal gauge for smaller scales. The scale of the model governs the choice of gauge: Hyper-Thin is the middle choice, so for the smallest scales reach for the finer Mega-Thin and for larger ones for the thicker Super-Thin.
The thread is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), so work in a well-ventilated area and avoid contact of the glue with skin and eyes. Glue is not included in the package.
